Dr. Joy Zarandy is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at AnMed Health in Anderson, South Carolina. She graduated medical school at the Georgia campus of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia, receiving honors as a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi national osteopathic medicine honors fraternity. She attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate studies, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned her Bachelor of Science with double majors in Biology and Psychology and a minor in Spanish.
Dr. Zarandy’s professional passions include Preventative Medicine, Women’s Health, Weight Management, and promoting Heart Health and Mental Health. She is a big proponent of patient education and providing customized medical care to best meet an individual’s health needs and goals. She is also a strong advocate for future healthcare providers, and has given lectures to medical students, precepted nurse practitioner students, and has been the recipient of the Resident Teacher Award and several Student Teaching Awards.
Dr. Zarandy is native to the North Atlanta Area. She currently lives in Johns Creek with her husband, who is a Sports Medicine Physician, and their young son. As an active member in the community, she appreciates the opportunity to provide healthcare in her hometown. She is an avid runner, and has participated in several marathons and half marathons. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, crafting, and spending time with her family.
