Dr. Tanya Pandya is the founder and Medical Director of Pandya Medical Center.  She is a Board Certified Family Physician.  She did her Family Medicine Residency from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences for Medical School and concurrently received her Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dr. Pandya currently serves as the Department Chair of Family Medicine at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.  She was the Vice Chair of Family Medicine Department and served on the Peer Review Board at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.  She was a finalist of Best Internal Medicine Doctor in North Fulton in 2010.  She served as Chief Resident at Emory University Family Medicine Residency Program.  She is also the proud recipient of Georgia Academy of Family Physicians Resident of the Year award.  Dr. Pandya was a Preceptor and Mentor for Emory University Physician Assistant Program.  She is affiliated with Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Northside Hospital.

Dr Pandya’s passion is Preventive Medicine.  She believes in looking for root causes of her patients’ symptoms rather than just giving another prescription pill!  She believes in treating the whole patient and considers the body an intricately connected unit.  Her goal is to empower her patients with the knowledge and tools to help them change their lives and behaviors and achieve optimum health.  Dr. Pandya’s keen interests are Weight Management, Diabetes, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Heart Disease, Hormonal Balance and Thyroid Dysfunction.

Dr. Pandya has been a part of the Atlanta community for most of her life, having attended Duluth High School and Emory University for Undergraduate studies.  She has been practicing in North Atlanta Area for many years. She lives in the Johns Creek area with her husband and two beautiful children.
