Tanya Pandya, DO, MBA

A Georgia resident for most of her life, family care physician Tanya Pandya, DO, MBA proudly serves her community as founder and medical director of Pandya Medical Center, offering five convenient locations in Alpharetta, Braselton, Johns Creek, Cumming, and Dawsonville. With a passion for preventive medicine, Dr. Pandya’s goal is to empower patients by providing the knowledge and tools to change their lives and reach optimal health.

After completing her undergraduate studies at Emory University in Atlanta, Dr. Pandya began her path to medicine. She concurrently earned her Doctorate of Osteopathy from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri and her Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University in Kansas City. She then returned to Georgia to complete her residency, serving as chief resident at Emory University Family Medicine Residency Program.

Her career has been studded with achievements, such as receiving the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians Resident of the Year award and being a finalist for the title of Best Internal Medicine Doctor in North Fulton in 2010. Dr. Pandya has also mentored students as a preceptor for the physician assistant program at Emory University.

Besides working with patients, Dr. Pandya serves as department chair of Family Medicine at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. She’s also affiliated with Northside Hospital.

Dr. Pandya strives to identify the cause of illness rather than prescribing medication to treat symptoms. She sees the human body as an intricately connected unit and firmly believes in treating the whole patient. She provides primary care for a broad range of health concerns but has a particular interest in weight management, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, hormonal balance, and thyroid dysfunction.

Dr. Pandya has been practicing in the north Atlanta area for many years and lives in Johns Creek with her husband and two beautiful children.

As we mark the 10th anniversary of our medical practice, we extend our deepest gratitude to each one of you. As we reflect on the past ten years, we are filled with gratitude for the privilege of serving you and contributing to our community's health.
