Parul Shah is a board certified dietitian by American Dietetic Association and Licensed by Georgia State board. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Dietetics from Wayne State University, Michigan. She is also a LEAN Certified Health , Wellness and Lifestyle coach. Her core specialty areas are Weight Loss, Wellness, Preventive Nutrition, Cholesterol and Triglyceride Reduction, Pre-diabetes, Diabetes, and Chronic Disease Management. Parul has extensive experience as a clinical dietitian and has worked in hospitals and dialysis facilities, corporate companies, and in one on one sessions with individuals.
Parul has a very unique approach of finding your red zones (root of problem) and removing them to reach your health goals. She believes in gentle approach of lifestyle modification versus restrictive approach. Her nutrition plans are practical and easy to follow in our every day busy life. Parul tailors her counselling around each individual’s genotype and food preferences to help them develop healthier lifelong habits. She emphasizes healthy eating habits and has a non-dieting approach to nutrition. Making behavioral changes such as eating healthy and staying physically active are the keys to a permanently healthy lifestyle.
As a Registered dietitian and Health Coach, her mission is to provide clients with nutrition education that will enable them to adopt and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Parul lives in Duluth, Georgia with her husband and 2 kids.
